Number panel glowing. It passes 10. 11. 12. Then 13. The display just… shows 13. Steady. Like it was always there. I check the lobby call panel — only goes up to 12. I look back at the monitor. The doors are opening. Whatever's out there isn't a hallway. It's dark. And something is moving toward the camera. Slow. The cabin lights start to flicker.
